Join the PGSA while we help you catch up on your writing. Need some quiet time to write in a stress-free environment? Join us! Want to learn some tips on effective writing? Join us! Writing a paper and finding it hard to finish the paper and format it? Join us! We’ll have a team of experts on hand to help!
On September 25th from 3-7pm, the PGSA will be hosting a writing event exclusively for postgrads at the Auckland Bio-engineering Institute (Uni Services House)! Yes, there will be free snack food to keep your energy levels high and writing productive!
For the first hour (or until the end of questions, whichever is later) the PGSA has arranged to have the wonderful staff from Student Learning Services (All-star lineup includes Ian Brailsford, Josta Heyligers, Brigida Figueira, and Liz Hardiman) on hand to provide some tips on writing, as well as answering your queries. They will circulate throughout the room, giving advice as you begin to write or revise your writing. After some time for writing, we will be hosting a participant discussion session to work as a team to improve your writing. In this way, we will help you form writing teams, so that you have help while you progress through your degree. During all of this, there will be ample quiet time to get your writing done.
