Do you want to get the best Auckland experience? Something only postgrads at Auckland University get to see?

(Normal price for ferry ticket, tour, and lunch at Rangitoto: $44 or more, PGSA Price $25 — THAT’S LESS THAN THE PRICE OF THE FERRY TICKET!)

PGSA is happy to start off the year with a one-of-a-kind experience. Know Rangitoto volcano from inside out, tour it like a expert knowing intriguing details it’s surrounding landscape. We have some amazing guides lined up to show you things on the island that only the “professionals” usually get to see. Go off the usual paths and into secret lava caves. Enjoy the stories of the history of the island as only the geologists can tell you. Did you know that Rangitoto might still be active somewhere deep below the earth? Just ask your guides and they’ll tell you why they think it might be possible that the next eruption is to be very near to Rangitoto. These guides are exclusive to the PGSA event, academics from the School of Environment. A unique experience behind the scenes, exploring off the map! But also, there will be the usual tour of the island and sightseeing. Grab your ticket fast, last year it sold out within a day! (The price of the ticket is less than the ferry ticket price, and includes the tour and a lunch!)
